Our Programmes
After School Hoops Academy
For children aged 6-13 who want to learn the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and supportive environment. We have different classes to suit age, ability and location.
In Schools
We are involved in the basketball programs at Middleton Grange, Riccarton High, Hornby High and Hillmorton High Schools. We offer various different services as the school requires. We are also involved with many of our local primary and intermediate schools with our ‘In School Hoops’ and ‘Girls Got Game’ programmes. Contact us if you’d like to have us visit your school!
Holiday Camps
For children aged 6-13 who want to learn the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and supportive environment. We run three separate camps every school holidays to suit age and ability.
Primary Competitions
We run competitions for local primary and intermediate schools. These are held at Wharenui Stadium and the Middleton Grange School Gyms. We also run a competition called Gator Ball which is a three aside game - perfect for new and junior players.
Club Teams
We hold trials for all our club teams between February - April each year. We enter teams in all CBA competition grades. Youngest grade is under 13’s.
Summer League
Summer League is a five week competition run in terms one and four. There is a thirty minute skills session followed by a full four quarter game. We have U15, U19 and Open Grades
